Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer/Supplier : Internal
Quarterly validates Active Directory user accounts and communicates to Divisions
Interacting with Application & DB teams to deploy the New Servers / Upgrading Severs
Provide reports to DB Team for OSA users list
Provide Servers Performance reports to Application Teams
Customer /Supplier External
Active Directory user creation/Edition/Update/support for Group
Installation/Configuration of SUN Solaris/Linux/Windows Servers
Blackberry, Mobile Devices configuration.
Getting quotes for Hardware/Software
Backing up VIP's PC/Laptop Backup on monthly basis
End User support.
People Management
·      Providing guidance to Systems Engineer
Analysis
·      Analyzing and testing the product/solution before implementing to Production environment
Innovation
·      Identifies needs and improvement opportunity within scope uses innovative solutions to facilitate change or improvement at the functional and business application users on divisions level
Operations
Monthly preventive maintenance of Sun Server
Taking appropriate steps for the right up-gradation of the systems and solving any kind of problems, which might occur in the systems
Ensuring the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access.
Backup Restore testing
Daily check up of SUN /Linux/Windows Servers (Activity/Performance/Disk space/Backup)
Daily check up for AC Temperature, Humidity and UPS Battery Test in ABA Data Centre
Changing backup tapes in Logistics Data Centre on routine
Monthly UPS maintenance for ABA/Logistics/Crepaway Data Centres
Management of EMC Centres
Distributed File System Management
Saving backup soft logs for all servers
Preparing month end tapes for compatible servers
Management of the Tape Library
Checking and saving OPMANAGER reports on Server.
InformEM Employee designation change update on the server.
Resigned/Terminated HR letter follow-up and Actions/Signature
Establish Backup Policies &, Procedures
Shall be responsible and compliance with ABA IT Division's security policies; protection of ABA IT Division's information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction and/or interference thereby ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information; and the reporting of security events, potential incidents and/or other threats
Monitor and review Performance, Availability & Capacity of IT infrastructure.
Maintain devices, systems and services to meet IT SLA defined
